In this User Guide, you will learn how to create an Assignment Playlist.
First you will choose Content Library in the top navigation bar.
Next, use the pull-down menu to select the grade you are working with.
Use the pull-down menu to select the language you are working with.
Choose the Big Idea or Standard you are working with.
Now you are going to start building your Playlist. Add lesson components to your playlist by clicking on the second orange button.
View, rearrange, and remove items from your playlist by clicking on the orange Playlist button on the top left of your library. When you are ready, click on Create Assignment.
Fill in the grade, unit, subunit, and assignment title. To ensure that students do your assignment in the order you have it, click on "Enforce Ordering."
You can add additional instructions, resources, and estimated time for this assignment.
When you are ready, click on Save Assignment.
Your assignment is now saved in Workspace. Click on Go to Workspace to view the assignment.
Find you assignment in your Workspace, under the Assignments tab. Click on the first orange button to assign.
To assign the assignment on the EduSmart platform, click on the first option. Choose which classes and/or students you would like to assign this assignment to. Set the start and end date. When you are ready, click on Assign.
You can send the assignment via URL with the second option. Your students can access the assignment via this url. However, to access this url, students will need to be logged into EduSmart or be prepared to enter valid login credentials.
To assign via Google Classroom, click on the third option, and it will lead you to log into your Google Classroom.
