Content Library Tour
This User Guide will cover the basic navigation and features of the Content Library and My Library. After your login to EduSmart, choose "Content Library".
There are four options for locating the instructional resources you want:
1) Choose Grade
2) Language
3) Category/Standard
4) Search
The "Choose Grade" option opens a window that shows you the grade level or levels of EduSmart product to which you have access. Select the grade level to display the EduSmart resources available.
The "Language" option allows you to toggle between EduSmart resources in English or Spanish. All EduSmart lesson components are available in both English and Spanish for grades K-5. Science Readers in grades 6-8 are available in English and Spanish as well.
The "Category/Standard" option allows you to go directly to the reporting category of your choice. Simply select the desired category to display the related EduSmart resources.
The "Search" option will allow you to enter one or more key words. EduSmart will display resources related to your word search.
Choose a tile below to move to the next level of organization. In this example, we will navigate to the "Matter and Energy" resources for 5th Grade.
At this level, you see all of the EduSmart Units that are available to support the reporting standard "Matter and Energy." For STAAR tested grades 5, 8, and HS Bio you will also see and have access to EduSmart Units for any Support Standards from previous grade levels. If you have a subscription to EduSmart's STAARsmart product, you will also have access to the "Reporting Category Tests" for that reporting category.
Select one of the EduSmart Units to display the resources and lesson components available. In this example, we are going to look at resources available for the unit for TEKS 5.6 (B)(C), Mixtures and Solutions.
If you would like to view these resources organized according to the 5E Model, select the toggle indicated.
Notice that you now see the same resources previously shown by Resource Type, but they are now organized according to their correlation to the 5E Model.
Notice that a breadcrumb trail is produced as you navigate through the various levels. You can navigate back to a previous level easily by selecting your choice here.
