Progress Monitoring Report

TX Teacher — Step-by-Step Guide

This guide walks Texas Teachers through the Progress Monitoring report in EduSmart. Teachers can monitor group performance against grade-level standards, drill down to a Detailed Group Report for individual student scores, and export the results to Excel.

STEP 1: Open the Progress Monitoring Report and Apply Filters

Callout ①: From the top navigation bar, click Reports.

Callout ②: Select the Progress Monitoring tab.

Callout ③: Use the filter row to select Monitor Progress For (e.g., Grade 6 Standards), the Test/Assessment type (e.g., Quiz), and the Date Range (e.g., This School Year).

Callout ④: Click Submit to apply the filters. The table lists each group with its performance percentage for the selected standard(s).

Callout ⑤: Click Export (.xlsx) to download the group-level results as an Excel file.

Callout ⑥: Click a Group Name (e.g., Demo Group 6-8) to open its Detailed Group Report.

Note: Scores are color-coded by performance band: Did Not Meet Grade Level (red), Approaches Grade Level (orange), Meets Grade Level (gold), and Masters Grade Level (green). Click Edit Bands to adjust the band thresholds.

STEP 2: View the Detailed Group Report

The Detailed Group Report lists each student in the group with their score for every standard, along with the number of questions attempted. Use the Search by Student Name box to quickly find a student, and adjust the same filters (Monitor Progress For, Test/Assessment, Date Range) as needed, then click Submit.

Callout ⑦: Click Export (.xlsx) to download the student-level results for this group as an Excel file.

Note: Student scores use the same performance band colors as the group view.
