Item Analysis Report

FL Teacher — Step-by-Step Guide

This guide walks Florida Teachers through the Item Analysis report in EduSmart. Teachers can review test-level statistics for a group (Assigned, Completed, Average Score, and Median), drill into a question-by-question Itemwise Analysis showing how students answered each item, and download the results.

STEP 1: Go to Reports and Open Item Analysis

From the top navigation bar, click Reports.

Callout ①: Select the Item Analysis tab.

Callout ②: Use the Group dropdown to select a group (e.g., Demo Group G5). The table lists each test for the group with Assigned, Completed, Average Score, and Median columns.

Callout ③: Click the orange Report icon next to a test (e.g., SSA Practice Test – Section B) to open its Itemwise Analysis.

Note: Click any column header (Test Name, Assigned, Completed, Average Score, Median) to sort the table. Use Download report to save the test-level summary.

STEP 2: View the Itemwise Analysis and Download the Report

Clicking the Report icon opens the Itemwise Analysis for the selected test (e.g., SSA Practice Test – Section B).

Each question is listed with its Body of Knowledge, Standard, DOK level, Question Number, Question Type, and the number of students who selected each answer choice (A, B, C, D).

Note: An asterisk (*) marks the correct answer choice for each question, so you can quickly see how many students answered correctly and which distractors were chosen.

Use the test dropdown (top right) to switch between tests without leaving the page, and click the back arrow next to the test name to return to the test-level view.

Callout ④: Click Download report to save the Itemwise Analysis.
