Progress Monitoring Report
FL Teacher — Step-by-Step Guide
This guide walks Florida Teachers through the Progress Monitoring report in EduSmart. Teachers can monitor group-level mastery of grade-level standards, apply test and date-range filters, drill into student-level performance for a group, review color-coded performance bands, and export results to Excel.
STEP 1: Go to Reports and Open Progress Monitoring
From the top navigation bar, click Reports.
Callout ①: Select the Progress Monitoring tab.
Callout ②: Use the filter row to choose the standards to monitor (Monitor Progress For), the Test/Assessment (e.g., SSA Practice Test – Section A), and the Date Range (e.g., This School Year).
Callout ③: Click Submit to apply the selected filters.
Callout ④: Click Export (.xlsx) to download the group-level results to Excel.
Callout ⑤: The table shows each group’s percentage score per standard (e.g., SC.5.N.1.1).
Click a Group Name (e.g., Demo Group G5) to open its Detailed Group Report.
Note: Scores are color-coded by performance band — Did Not Meet, Approaches, Meets, and Masters Grade Level. Use Edit Bands to customize the band thresholds.
STEP 2: View the Detailed Group Report (Student-Level)
Clicking a group name opens the Detailed Group Report for that group (e.g., Demo Group G5). Each student is listed with their percentage score per standard, and a No. of Questions row shows how many questions were assessed for each standard.
The same Monitor Progress For, Test/Assessment, and Date Range filters are available; click Submit after changing them. Use the Search by Student Name box to quickly locate a student.
Callout ⑥: Click Export (.xlsx) to download the student-level results to Excel.
Note: Student scores follow the same color-coded performance bands as the group view. Click the back arrow next to the group name to return to the group-level Progress Monitoring report.
