Progress Monitoring Report
FL Administrator — Step-by-Step Guide
This guide walks Florida Administrators through the process of accessing and navigating the Progress Monitoring Report (PMR) in EduSmart. The PMR provides standard-by-standard performance data at the District, School, Teacher, Group, and Student level.
STEP 1: Go to Admin and Open Usage Reports
From the top navigation bar, click Admin (orange chart icon). On the Admin Management page, click the Usage Reports tile.
STEP 2: Open the Progress Monitoring Report
On the Analytics Dashboard, click the Progress Monitoring Report tile (outlined in blue).
STEP 3: Apply Filters and View the District Report
The report opens at the Detailed District Report level (EduSmart – Florida).
Use the filter row to set your criteria.
Callout ① shows the filter row for:
Monitor Progress For — Select the grade level or standards group (e.g., Grade 5 Standards).
Test/Assessment — Select the assessment type (e.g., SSA Practice Test – Section A).
Date Range — Select the time period (e.g., This School Year), then click
Callout ② is the Submit button.
Callout ③ is the Export (.xlsx) button to download the report.
Callout ④ shows a school row — click the school name to drill down to the School Report.
STEP 4: Drill Down to the School Report
Click a school name (Callout ④) in the District Report to open the Detailed School Report.
The breadcrumb at the top updates to show your current level: All States > Florida > EduSmart – Florida > [School Name]. The results table now shows each teacher’s performance by standard.
Note: Callout ⑤ shows a teacher row. Click the teacher name to drill down to the Teacher Report. Filters and date range carry over from the previous level.
STEP 5: Drill Down to the Teacher and Group Report
Click a teacher name (Callout ⑤) to open the Detailed Teacher Report. The table now shows each group (class) assigned to that teacher with standard-by-standard performance. Click a group name (Callout ⑥) to drill down further to the Group Report.
Note: Callout ⑥ shows a group row on the Teacher Report. Click the group name to open the Group Report showing individual student performance.
STEP 6: View Student-Level Data and Export the Report
Click a group name to open the Detailed Group Report. The table lists each student with their performance percentage per standard and the number of questions attempted. Color-coded bands indicate achievement level (Did Not Meet, Approaches, Meets, or Masters Grade Level).
To download the data, click Export (.xlsx) (Callout ③, outlined in blue, top right). The report is available at any drill-down level — District, School, Teacher, or Group.
Note: The Export (.xlsx) button (outlined in blue, top right) is available at every report level. The exported file includes student names, standard codes, performance percentages, and number of questions answered.
The exported Excel file lists each student with their standard-by-standard performance percentages and question counts, as shown below:
Note: The exported file saves to your default Downloads folder. Each row shows a student name, performance percentage per standard, and number of questions answered (NO. OF QUESTIONS row).
Quick Reference Summary
- Click Admin in the top navigation bar.
- Click Usage Reports on the Admin Management page.
- Click the Progress Monitoring Report tile on the Analytics Dashboard.
- Set filters (Monitor Progress For, Test/Assessment, Date Range) and click Submit.
- Click a school name to drill down to the School Report.
- Click a teacher name to drill down to the Teacher Report.
- Click a group name to drill down to the Group and Student Report.
- Click Export (.xlsx) at any level to download the report to your local device.
