Grade Book Report
FL Administrator — Step-by-Step Guide
This guide walks Florida Administrators through accessing the Grade Book report in EduSmart. The Grade Book allows admins to view assignment completion status, drill into individual student tracking, review detailed AI-graded assignment scores, and download the report as needed.
STEP 1: Go to Reports and Open Grade Book
Callout ①: From the top navigation bar, click Reports.
Callout ②: On the Reports page, click the Grade Book tab.
Callout ③: Use the filter row to narrow results by Group and Assigned Date. The table displays all assignments for the selected group with Assignment Name, Assigned Date, and Due Date.
Callout ④: Click any assignment name to open its Detailed Assignment Report.
STEP 2: View the Detailed Assignment Report
Clicking an assignment name opens the Detailed Assignment Report. This page lists every student in the selected group alongside their completion status for that assignment (e.g., Not Started, In Progress, or a percentage score). A Re-assign link is available per student.
Callout ⑤: Click a student name to open their Individual Student Tracking page.
STEP 3: View Individual Student Tracking
Clicking a student name opens the Individual Student Tracking page for that group. This page lists all assignments assigned to the student with their Completion Status, Time Spent, and a Report icon.
Callout ⑥: Click the orange Report icon next to any completed assignment to open its detailed report for that student.
STEP 4: Open the Student’s Detailed Assignment Report
Clicking the Report icon opens the Detailed Assignment Report for that student, showing each content item and the student’s score.
Callout ⑦: Click the orange chart icon next to any scored item to open the full item-level report with AI grading and feedback.
STEP 5: Review AI-Graded Responses and Modify Grades
The item-level report (e.g., Readers Report — Reader — The Milky Way) shows the student’s full attempt with all question responses and AI-generated grading and feedback.
Total Score — Shown at the top with a breakdown by question type (Multiple Choice, Fill-In, Short Constructed Response).
AI Grade & Feedback — For Short Constructed Response questions, the AI provides a score and written feedback explaining the grade.
Modify Grade — If the AI score needs adjustment, click Modify Grade at the bottom of the question to enter a corrected score. Click Accept to confirm the AI score as-is.
Note: The Reader Report shows correct answers highlighted in green and incorrect answers in red. The AI Grade & Feedback panel (blue) provides a written explanation for Short Constructed Response questions. Use Modify Grade to override the AI score, or Accept to confirm it.
Quick Reference Summary
- Click Reports in the top navigation bar.
- Click the Grade Book tab.
- Use the Group and Assigned Date filters to find assignments, then click an assignment name.
- On the Detailed Assignment Report, click a student name to view their Individual Student Tracking page.
- Click the orange Report icon next to a completed assignment to open the student’s Detailed Assignment Report.
- Click the orange chart icon next to a scored content item to open the item-level report.
- Review AI grading and feedback. Use Modify Grade to override or Accept to confirm the AI score.
